Jamestowne Society members and their guests attended the Society's Fall Membership Meeting on Saturday, November 3, 2012, at the Commonwealth Club in Richmond. The speaker was John Edwards, Editor and Publisher of the "Smithfield Times" newspaper, and President of the Historical St. Luke's Church Foundation. His topic was "St. Luke's 1632 Church at Smithfield." Mr. Edwards' talk included a video presentation which had just been made for the St. Luke's Church Foundation, featuring a variety of views of the old church and its grounds.
